Bright & Beautiful Cherry Berry Smoothie Bowl

Enjoy this fresh and healthy start to your day – prepared the night before. 

Serves 2 

Preparation time: 5 minutes, plus chilling time 

Suitable for vegetarians or vegans (if using dairy-free yoghurt) 

100g Picota cherries, halved and pitted 

100g blueberries 

200g plain dairy-free or Greek-style yoghurt 

2tbsp chia seeds 

To serve: 

Extra yoghurt, Picota cherries and honey 

A few toasted mixed seeds 

1 Put the Picota cherries and blueberries into a blender with the yoghurt and blitz until smooth. Tip into a bowl and stir in the chia seeds. Cover and refrigerate overnight, or for several hours. 

2 In the morning, share the mixture between two serving bowls and top with extra yoghurt and cherries. Serve drizzled with honey and sprinkled with toasted mixed seeds. 

Cook’s tips: Try making with Picota cherries and chopped plums, or Picota cherries and strawberries. For 1 serving, just enjoy half and keep the rest refrigerated for up to 3 days.
