Chocolate Mug Cake

If you’ve never made a mug cake before then you’ll be blown away with how well it works and how tasty it is! Made in under 10 minutes!

Ingredients

Servings: 1-2

  • 4 tbsp plain flour

  • 4 tbsp sugar

  • 6 tbsp plant milk

  • ½ tsp baking powder

  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder or raw cacao powder

  • 3 tsp vegan spread or coconut oil, melted

  • Pinch salt (optional)

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)

  • 3 squares vegan chocolate (optional)

Method

  1. Apart from the squares of vegan chocolate, mix all ingredients in a mug until smooth.

  2. If using squares of chocolate, push them into the middle of the mug/mixture until fully submerged.

  3. Heat in a microwave on full power for 1 ½ minutes.

  4. Serving suggestions: chopped nuts, fresh fruit, fresh mint, Oreo or other biscuits, vegan choc chips, vegan cream, vegan custard, vegan ice cream
