Black Forest Gateau Smoothie

This smoothie is so incredibly delicious!

Ingredients

Time: 5 mins

Serves: 2

  • 160g/1 cup frozen berries of your choice

  • 1 very ripe banana

  • 1 tsp nut butter of your choice (optional)

  • 1 tbsp raw cacao powder

  • 2 Medjool dates, stones removed

  • 325ml/1½ cups plant milk of your choice

Healthy optional extras (you might need to add a little more plant milk if adding any (or all) of these):

  • Switch out half a cup of the berries for half a cup of frozen peas

  • ½ tsp ground turmeric and pinch black pepper

  • 1 lump frozen spinach

  • 3cm cube fresh beetroot

  • 1 sprig broccoli

  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed

  • 1 tbsp buckwheat flakes

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp dessicated coconut

Method

  1. Blend all ingredients until smooth.
