Stir Fried CauliShoots

Ingredients

Serves: 4 - as a side

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Cooking time: 15 minutes

  • 250g CauliShoots

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

  • 1 clove of garlic, crushed 

  • 2cm ginger, grated

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds

  • 1 red chilli, sliced

  • 2 spring onions, finely chopped

Method

  1. Put a large pan of water on a high heat and bring to the boil. Turn down to a simmer and top with a steamer. Add the CauliShoots and steam for 5 minutes. 

  2. Heat the sesame oil in a wok on a medium high heat. Add the garlic and ginger and fry for a minute. 

  3. Add the steamed CauliShoots and stir fry until golden. Add the soy sauce and stir to combine.

  4. Serve topped with the sesame seeds, chilli and spring onions.
