Isle of Wight Cherry Tomato Canapés

Ingredients

Serves: 4-6

Preparation time: 10 minutes

  •  1 pack pre made mini pastry cases

  • 10 Piccolo tomatoes, halved

  • 1 pack mini mozzarella balls, halved

  • 1 avocado, pitted, peeled and cut into chunks

  • Fresh basil leaves 

  • Olive oil

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method

  1.  Take the pastry cases and lay them out onto a tray. 

  2. Fill each case with half a tomato, half a mozzarella ball, one chunk of avocado and one basil leaf. 

  3. Drizzle a little olive oil onto each canape and season with salt and pepper.
