Black Forest Gateau Smoothie
This smoothie is so incredibly delicious!
Ingredients
Time: 5 mins
Serves: 2
160g/1 cup frozen berries of your choice
1 very ripe banana
1 tsp nut butter of your choice (optional)
1 tbsp raw cacao powder
2 Medjool dates, stones removed
325ml/1½ cups plant milk of your choice
Healthy optional extras (you might need to add a little more plant milk if adding any (or all) of these):
Switch out half a cup of the berries for half a cup of frozen peas
½ tsp ground turmeric and pinch black pepper
1 lump frozen spinach
3cm cube fresh beetroot
1 sprig broccoli
1 tbsp ground flaxseed
1 tbsp buckwheat flakes
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp dessicated coconut
Method
Blend all ingredients until smooth.
