Breakfast in a Bowl – Vegan Breakfasts

 

Sharing the breakfast LOVE! With our mornings not getting any warmer at the minute, the need for a proper sized breakfast is becoming an ever more exciting prospect. But put away the toaster, just for now, and get inspired by Instagram foodie sensation @jennifermakes nutritious, and properly mouthwatering, breakies.

Hot Blueberry & Blackberry Oats

 

Blueberry & Blackberry Sauce:
• 1/4 cup of blueberries
• 1/4 cup of blackberries
• 1 tsp of maple syrup
• squeeze of a lemon
• 1/2 tsp of cinnamon

Oats:
• 2/3 cup of oats
• cup of rice milk
• tsp of maple syrup

 

 

To make the sauce, put everything in a pan over medium heat, squish the berries with a fork and keep stirring for 5 mins until the sauce thickens.

To make the oats, place all the ingredients in a pan on medium heat and cook until thick and creamy.

Salted Caramel Cacao Smoothie Bowl

• 1 frozen banana
• 1 tsp of raw cacao
• 1 tsp of coconut sugar
• handful of cashews
• cup of rice milk
• tiny pinch of sea salt

Blend until smooth and creamy. I topped mine with strawberries, raspberries, blueberries & coconut.

 

 

Rice Milk Oats

• 2/3 cup of oats
• cup of rice milk
• tsp of maple syrup
• 1/2 tsp of cinnamon

Place all the ingredients in a pan on medium heat and cook until thick and creamy. Top with your favourite fruits.
