Raspberry Overnight Oats

 

It’s breakfast week this week, and we all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, or you will do after you’ve read all about it here. But are we making the most of the king of meals? Well, we are now, with this healthy, delicious and beautiful breakfast, packed with amazing ingredients that will energise you for the day ahead.

Ingredients:

2 cups plant milk

1 cup instant oats

1 handful (frozen or fresh) raspberries (or other berries)

1 tbsp Primrose’s Kitchen beetroot and seed sprinkle

Sweetener (agave or maple syrup or stevia) as required

Method:

Mash the berries with a fork until there is juice running

Mix the plant milk, the oats, berries, beetroot and seed sprinkle and sweetener together until porridge-like consistency

Put the mixture into a bowl or jar and let it stand in the fridge overnight

In the morning you will have a nutritious breakfast with the right amount of carbs (from the oats), vitamins (from the berries) and protein (from the beetroot and seeds) to enjoy straight away
